We purchase our African Black Soap as a base from a coop of women in Ghana. Then we rebatch it with our Savvy flair: more ash, french green clay for detox, and our essential oil blend. We mold the batches into bars and cut them to our specifications.

We are the only brand (to date) that cut our soap slices into smaller cubes- this extends the life of the soap and makes it much easier to store. Each soap bar lasts AT LEAST 4 months if used on the whole body. It lasts MUCH LONGER as a facial soap only.

The word “Trivium” defines the place where three roads meet. And in this case, that is exactly what has happened.

Savvy Bohème set out on a journey to discover the most effective, yet simplistic way to care for the face without complicated steps, “advanced technology”, or using ingredients with extra-long syllables including the letters “Z” and “X”- we really do like to stick to the basics.

And during our first year of discovery, our customers played a very large role in directing our steps. African Black Soap is an extremely clarifying facial (and body…and hair) cleanser that removes makeup and environmental grime and draws impurities to the surface of the skin.

Bisous Pour Tous Facial Exfoliant uses organic, Fair Trade coffee and sugar as gentle exfoliants to remove dead skin, and contains naturally occurring glycolic acid (an alpha hydroxy acid) to give you a deep exfoliation, making your face offensive to free radicals (aka..zit and wrinkle causers!). Also, highly beneficial oils, kosher vegetable glycerin, and honey are used to remove the oxidized oils holding the dead skin to your face and moisturize the new cellular turnover.

Raven’s Balm moisturizes your freshly prepared palette and gives your face a breathable moisture barrier of protection. It works double-duty as a primer for foundation makeup, too!
