We purchase our African Black Soap as a base from a coop of women in Ghana. Then we rebatch it with our Savvy flair: more ash, french green clay for detox, and our essential oil blend. We mold the batches into bars and cut them to our specifications.

We are the only brand (to date) that cut our soap slices into smaller cubes- this extends the life of the soap and makes it much easier to store. Each soap bar lasts AT LEAST 4 months if used on the whole body. It lasts MUCH LONGER as a facial soap only.

The Double Cleansing Method, or The Oil Cleansing Method had been around for generations.

It utilizes the purifying and restorative abilities of botanical oils to cleanse, detox, nourish and moisturize the skin, leaving your complexion "smooth like glass".

The process typically involves using oil to cleanse twice: one time to soften oxidized sebum (oil), allowing cellular turnover to occur; The second wash is intended to draw out residual grime and dead skin, and leave the skin moisturized and clean.
