Top 10 Most Inspiring Movie Quotes {Days 5 & 6}

I fell asleep with my computer in my lap last night.

I'm guessing that's not a super-safe thing to do for me or my laptop. It also caused me to miss my quote post last night, so today, you get a two-fer. (actually, it'll be a three-fer, because of Aaron's offering, too.)

On a side note: I realize that the title of these posts SHOULD say, "Top 10 Most Inspiring Movie Quotations", not "quotes". Sometimes, it just feels right to say things the wrong way.

In the future, I will be answering your questions, but today I want to break from my usual format and talk to you about the subject of plans. Not so much my plan for this column, but life plans, and how we all make them. And how we hope that our kids make good, smart, safe plans of their own. But if we're really honest with ourselves, our plans usually don't work out as we had hoped. So instead of asking our young people "What are you plans? What do you plan to do with your life?" maybe we should tell them this: Plan to be surprised.th
*sigh...I love that movie. It's so sweet.   And tonite's selection...let's get sentimental...Let's HOPE.

Beginnings are usually scary, endings are usually sad, but it's what's in the middle that counts.

So when you find yourself at the beginning, just give hope a chance to float up. And it will.

~Hope Floats

And of course, from Aaron:

“The ratio of people to cake is too big.”  Office Space
