The word “Trivium” defines the place where three roads meet. And in this case, that is exactly what has happened.
Savvy Bohème set out on a journey to discover the most effective, yet simplistic way to care for the face without complicated steps, “advanced technology”, or using ingredients with extra long syllables including the letters “Z” and “X”- we really do like to stick to the basics.
And during our last year of discovery, our customers have played a very large role in directing our steps. Over and over, people were telling us how they were using their Savvy Bohème products, and a common thread was occurring in the conversations: Combine the African Black Soap lather and the Raw Sugar Scrub to save a step; Then apply the Raven’s Balm to freshly prepared skin. Everyone kept saying the same thing: They loved how it made their skin look and feel.
So, I started training our new customers to do the same, and have gotten the same reviews: “Love it!”
But, as always, I want for you all to understand how and why the combination works so well, so if you are interested, read on…
- The African Black Soap is an extremely clarifying facial (and body…and hair) cleanser that removes makeup and environmental grime, and draws impurities to the surface of the skin. It is amazing for acne and skin discoloration, as well as eczema and dandruff.
- The Raw Sugar Scrub uses organic, Fair Trade sugar as an exfoliant to remove dead skin, and converts itself naturally to glycolic acid (an alphahydroxy acid) to give you a deep exfoliation, as well as adjusts your pH, making your face offensive to free radicals (aka..zit and wrinkle causers!). Also, highly beneficial oils, kosher vegetable glycerin, and local honey are used to remove the oxidized oils holding the dead skin to your face, and moisturize the new cellular turnover.
- Raven’s Balm is used to moisturize the freshly prepared palate, and to give your face a breathable moisture barrier of protection. I’m highly understating the power of Raven’s Balm here- read this to learn more.
What People are saying:
“Hi, rec’d order Friday and could hardly wait to use them. They are simply out of this world. I can already tell a difference in my complexion. My skin is already much softer and looking for a more even complexion as well. I want to eat the scrubs, they smell so delicious! Everyone of them are so great. The soap is not one bit drying to my complexion which I was afraid would be. Want to try other products later as well. Thanks, thanks. Can not say that enough.”- Diane M.
Three roads meet. Two steps combine them. One result occurs: A beautiful complexion.
Directions for use:
- Lather ABS into palm, set soap bar/cube aside. Sprinkle Raw Sugar Scrub into lather and scrub face in circular motion. Rinse.
- Apply Raven’s Balm to clean skin. Immediately apply makeup or don’t. Your call.
